Walkers in Gravenhurst and Huntsville participated in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser
The numbers are in for Coldest Night of the Year, a fundraiser walk being held in both Gravenhurst and Huntsville.
In Huntsville residents helped fight hunger and homelessness for The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, brought together 110 walkers, 30 teams, and 17 volunteers to raise $76,177 toward a $110,000 goal.
In Gravenhurst, walkers stepped up for Gravenhurst Against Poverty, which saw 249 walkers, 49 teams, and 50 volunteers raise $162,602 toward a $185,000 goal.
The family-friendly walks were held on February 28th supporting local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
