The fire was first reported yesterday afternoon
Fire crews from Gravenhurst responded to a wildfire southwest of town near Beiers Road yesterday. The blaze was first reported around 3 p.m. Monday and quickly spread to about 40 hectares before air support from Ontario Fire helped bring it down to just over three hectares by evening.
