Sidewalk and snow plows will be out checking equipment and routes before the snow flies
Huntsville is getting its winter maintenance crews ready before the snow arrives.
The Town says annual training and route reviews are underway, with sidewalk equipment operating on sidewalks, pathways and road crossings. Crews are checking routes, identifying obstacles and making sure equipment is working properly. Training is expected to continue through November first.
Drivers are asked to slow down and give maintenance equipment plenty of room, while pedestrians should stay alert and keep children and pets away from machinery.
