The driver fled from police, and faces multiple charges
Huntsville OPP have charged an 18-year-old after a November 30 incident in Baysville. Officers say the driver left a residence intoxicated, collided with a vehicle, and assaulted people trying to stop them.
Police found the suspect hiding nearby, impaired and with cannabis in the car.
Charges include impaired driving, flight from police, assault, and other driving offences. The accused is scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court in January.
