The man was charged with possession of proceeds of crime over five-thousand dollars and more
OPP say a late-night traffic stop on Highway 400 has led to multiple criminal charges.
Bracebridge OPP stopped a southbound vehicle in Georgian Bay Township just after 11 p.m. on January 14th during proactive patrols.
Police say the investigation resulted in the arrest of a 78-year-old Mississauga man, charged with possession of proceeds of crime over five-thousand dollars, possession of an opioid, and two counts of driving while under suspension.
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Bracebridge court the following day, as the case now moves through the justice system.
