The lights are the latest feature to help make the Downtown Core a winter destination
Downtown Huntsville is sparkling this holiday season, thanks to a $95,000 contribution from Explore Huntsville and the vision of the Downtown Huntsville BIA.
Town Hall, Kent Park, the swing bridge, and Main Street are all lit up, creating a festive winter wonderland.
The display complements other community attractions like the outdoor skating rink at River Mill Park and the upcoming Forest of Light at Sandhill Nursery.
Downtown businesses have joined in, adding lights and greenery to their storefronts, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
The BIA says this is just the first phase of a multi-year plan to make downtown Huntsville a holiday destination. The lights are ready just in time for the Santa Claus Parade next Friday.
