The drivers were impaired by either drugs or alcohol, and one driver was charged with uttering threats
The Almaguin Highlands OPP laid impaired driving charges against six people in July.
The arrests happened across Perry Township, South River, and Burk’s Falls, involving both alcohol and drug impairment. Each driver received a 90-day license suspension and had their vehicle impounded.
Detachment Commander Doug Vincer says the OPP is committed to keeping impaired drivers off the roads and reminded the public that no amount of alcohol or drugs is safe when driving.
