Pet Valu donated 21,000kg of food to sanctuaries across the province
Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Rosseau is among the biggest beneficiaries of a major food donation from Pet Valu, aimed at helping orphaned and injured animals across Ontario.
The sanctuary will receive a share of more than 21,000 kilograms of dry dog food, which is ideal for animals like black bears, foxes, raccoons, and coyotes.
The Ontario Wildlife Rescue says it’s the largest single food donation they’ve ever seen—and it will go a long way in helping Aspen Valley and others focus their limited funds on saving more wildlife.
