A heavy police presence remains near Yearly Road and Cardwell Lake Road in Huntsville, where OPP are helping Barrie Police with an ongoing investigation.
The case is tied to a separate investigation in a wooded area in Barrie near Victoria, John, and Anne streets—reportedly the site of a homeless encampment.
The suspect, 52-year-old Robert Ladouceur, was arrested Saturday in Midland and remains in custody. Police say more information will be shared as the investigation allows.
