The celebrations are organized by the Parry Sound Friendship Centre
Bracebridge will host the second annual See Muskoka Through Our Eyes Powwow on June 28 and 29 at Annie Williams Memorial Park.
Organized by the Parry Sound Friendship Centre, the event features traditional drumming, dancing, sacred fire ceremonies, and cultural teachings focused on the land and Muskoka’s Indigenous history.
It begins with a sunrise ceremony at 6 a.m., and organizers expect attendance to double last year’s 8,000 visitors.
The event is free, with donations welcome to support future gatherings.
