The bridge closes navigation along a section of the Muskoka River
Bracebridge installed its floating snowmobile bridge yesterday near Beaumont Drive and Santa’s Village Road, closing the Muskoka River at the site until April 1st.
Snowmobilers are reminded to stay on trails, wear helmets and safety gear, check ice conditions, and carry emergency equipment. Officials say the bridge marks the start of the winter snowmobiling season.
