One driver tried to avoid a RIDE check
Bracebridge OPP have charged three more drivers with impaired driving following separate incidents in the region over the weekend.
Police say the first arrest came Friday during a RIDE check in Gravenhurst, when officers noticed a vehicle quickly turn away from the checkpoint.
A second driver was charged early Saturday after a traffic stop on Manitoba Street in Bracebridge. Then, early Monday morning, police stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 South in Gravenhurst over concerns about the driver's behaviour. That driver also faces charges involving an open liquor container and disobeying a stop sign.
All three are due in Bracebridge court next month.
