The transit system will offer free rides to the Bracebridge municipal office
Bracebridge is making it easier for residents to get to the polls in the municipal election.
Starting October 14, Bracebridge Transit will add a temporary stop at the Municipal Office on Taylor Court for residents who are voting.
Transit will also be free for everyone from October 14 through 26.
The temporary stop will operate on weekdays, with service running on an hourly loop. Voters need to arrive at the Municipal Office by 3:45 p.m., with the final pickup at 4:45.
The bus will not wait while passengers vote, so residents are being reminded to allow enough time for both voting and the return trip.
