Crews are working hard to clear the roads, but an additional 40cm's is expected
Bracebridge residents are being urged to use extra caution as a significant winter storm continues to impact the area.
Environment Canada says a snow squall warning remains in effect, with an additional 30 to 40 centimetres of snow expected through Friday morning. Sudden whiteout conditions and rapidly changing weather could make travel dangerous. Drivers are advised to postpone non-essential trips until conditions improve.
Public Works crews are monitoring the storm and continuing winter maintenance on roads and sidewalks. Transit buses are running, but delays are possible.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring weather alerts and forecasts as conditions continue to evolve.
