Extreme cold is hitting region again this weekend, with wind chills tonight and Friday morning expected to reach minus 33 to minus 38.
The Town of Bracebridge is warning that frostbite can occur in minutes on exposed skin. Limit outdoor activity, wear layers with a windproof outer layer, and watch for cold-related symptoms like numbness or weakness.
Check on vulnerable neighbors and keep pets inside.
