Huntsville will be hosting the games in February
Huntsville will host the 2026 Ontario 55+ Winter Games from February 3–5, welcoming over 1,000 athletes aged 55 and older. Competitions in 14 sports will take place across the town and surrounding region.
Yesterday’s kickoff event marked the start of the community countdown, with officials, organizers, and volunteers celebrating the upcoming Games. Opening ceremonies will feature a Celebrity Skate Show with Kurt Browning, and over 300 volunteers will support the event.
The Games aim to boost tourism, the local economy, and community spirit, with residents able to volunteer at www.huntsville2026.ca.
