Premier Doug Ford invited Premiers to the Council of the Federation meeting at Deerhurst
Deerhurst Resort will host this summer’s Council of the Federation meeting from July 21 to 23.
Premier Doug Ford has invited Canada’s premiers to Huntsville for three days of talks on the economy, national infrastructure, and Canada-U.S. relations.
The gathering follows a First Ministers’ Meeting in Saskatoon and comes amid growing concerns about U.S. tariffs.
While in Muskoka, premiers will also meet with Indigenous leaders to discuss economic development and reconciliation.
Ford currently chairs the Council and says the stakes for Canada's economy have never been higher.
