The high temps can impact curbside collection
The District of Muskoka are advising that waste collection crews in Muskoka will be working through extreme heat this week, and residents are being asked to lend a hand.
The District is asking residents to set your waste out by 6 a.m. and leave it at the curb until 7 p.m. If it’s not picked up, bring it in overnight to keep animals away, and put it back out the next morning. Crews will return to finish the route.
Officials say these steps help protect worker safety during the heat. For updates, check the Muskoka Waste App or visit muskokawaste.ca.
