Driver tries to hide in the snow after crash

Police found the man hiding in the snow and determined he was impaired

A man was arrested after trying to hide in the snow following a crash on Highway 11 near Aspdin Road last Tuesday.

Huntsville O.P.P. found 31-year-old Drew Reid of Marmora a short distance from his vehicle, and determined that he was impaired.

Reid faces charges of driving over 80, impaired driving with alcohol and drugs, and failing to remain at the scene.

He was released and is set to appear in Bracebridge court in February.
