E-bike riders causing concern in Gravenhurst

Thursday, 23 July 2026 10:02

The police report follows a review by the town of Gravenhurst on e-bikes and scooters

Bracebridge OPP are reminding riders to follow the rules for e-bikes and e-scooters after receiving several complaints about unsafe riding in Muskoka.

Police say the latest incident happened early Wednesday morning in Gravenhurst, where young people were reportedly causing a disturbance while riding e-bikes.

Officers say riders must be at least 16 years old, wear an approved helmet and obey the rules of the road. They also remind the public that municipalities may have additional restrictions on where e-bikes and e-scooters can be used.
