The Fire Ban has been cancelled, but there is no daytime burning allowed
The Fire Ban has been cancelled and the Muskoka Fire Danger Rating has been lowered to High after recent rainfall, but wildfire risk is still a concern.
Residents are reminded to use extreme caution with open flames. Small campfires are allowed in most rural areas, but no daytime burning is permitted.
Fires must be watched at all times, with water and tools on hand, and fully put out when your are finished.
For details on outdoor burning rules, check with your local by-law department.
