The warning is in effect until Friday
The Ministry of Natural Resources has extended the flood watch for the Muskoka River Watershed and Black River until Friday, April 25.
Water levels remain high, and more rain and melting snow could worsen conditions. Residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas are urged to take precautions and monitor the situation closely.
Bracebridge is offering free sand and sandbags at the municipal office on Taylor Court. And remember—stay clear of fast-moving water, unstable banks, and melting ice.
