The property will house 2 buildings with 108 housing units
The Town of Bracebridge is moving ahead with a major housing project at the former Memorial Arena site.
Plans call for two apartment buildings with up to 108 units, including at least 25 per cent set aside as affordable rentals.
One building will be run by Habitat for Humanity, while the District of Muskoka will own the larger complex.
The town is contributing the land and support services, with construction targeted for this fall and occupancy expected by 2028, pending final council approval next week.
