Everyone escaped without injury
A major fire tore through two homes in Gravenhurst early this morning.
Bracebridge OPP say it started around 5 a.m. in a detached garage on Muskoka Beach Road, quickly spreading to nearby houses. Both structures were fully engulfed, but thankfully, everyone inside got out safely.
At press time, the road remains closed between Old Muskoka Road and Jones Road, except for school traffic. Drivers are being asked to detour via Jones Road.
The investigation is ongoing.
