The seasonal restrictions help extend the life of roadways across the district
The Town of Gravenhurst says seasonal reduced-load restrictions will be lifted early Saturday, May 16th.
The restrictions are put in place each spring during thaw conditions to protect municipal roads from damage caused by heavy truck traffic.
Town officials say the measures are intended to extend the lifespan of local road infrastructure.
