Hemphill was nominated for his work with Rotary and other initiatives
Gravenhurst has named Bruce Hemphill its 2025 Senior of the Year.
Mayor Heidi Lorenz made the announcement yesterday at the 41st annual Mayor’s Tea at the Opera House.
Hemphill was nominated for his extensive volunteer work, including his leadership in expanding local health services through the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst. He also chairs the club’s Bingo Committee, sits on multiple boards, and has been a key part of several community initiatives.
Lorenz called him “a true gentleman” who’s made a lasting impact on the town.
