Possible suspensions start September 23rd
With the new school year around the corner, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reminding parents to make sure their children’s vaccinations are up to date.
Students born in 2008 and 2009 who are missing shots could face school suspensions starting September 23, while those born in 2016 and 2017 will see suspensions in February if records remain incomplete.
The health unit says now is the time to check with your child’s doctor or book an appointment at one of its local offices. Parents can review records and report updates online at smdhu.org.
