The team competed against a Nasa-sponsored entry
The Huntsville High School robotics team is celebrating a major achievement on the world stage. The Hoya Robotics Team placed third at the 2025 World Championships in Texas, where over 600 teams competed in front of 50,000 spectators.
Despite limited resources and practicing in a cafeteria corner, the team managed to beat some of the world’s best—including groups with million-dollar budgets and NASA-sponsored training spaces.
With sights set on next season, the team is already training new members and staying active in the community.
