The celebrations are part of Curling Day in Canada, with free events at River Mill Park and the Huntsville Curling Club
Huntsville Curling Club is inviting the community to join in celebrating 125 years of curling this Saturday, January 31, on Curling Day in Canada.
The day kicks off at River Mill Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a “Walk Through the Ages,” meet-and-greets with club members, and a chance to try the fast-growing sport of Crokicurl.
Later, more activities showcasing the club’s history and programs will be held at the clubhouse at 6 Veterans Way including a broadcast by TSN.
The club is welcoming everyone to celebrate a century and a quarter of curling in Huntsville.
