The vehicle was stolen at a business in Huntsville, and then drove past police
OPP have laid charges after a stolen vehicle was spotted and stopped in Huntsville.
Police say officers were responding to a theft report Monday just after noon at a business on Main Street West when they saw the stolen vehicle drive past. When officers tried to pull it over, the driver refused to stop and headed south onto Highway 11, where police say the vehicle was swerving erratically.
With help from additional units, officers safely stopped the vehicle a short time later.
27-year-old Sanna Jansson, of Huntsville now faces charges including impaired driving, flight from police and motor vehicle theft.
The vehicle was returned to its owner, and the accused is due in court in February.
