Huntsville driver puts vehicle in the ditch, charges laid

The novice driver was impaired

A 19-year-old Huntsville man is facing impaired driving charges after police found his vehicle in a ditch Saturday afternoon.

Huntsville OPP responded to Camp Kitchen Road just before 4 p.m. and say the driver showed signs of alcohol use. Officers say he failed a roadside test and was arrested.

The driver was charged with impaired operation, driving over the legal limit, and being a novice driver with alcohol in his system.

He’ll appear in court on July 8 in Bracebridge.
