Eric Sprott has been a longtime donor to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation
Huntsville Hospital Foundation has received a $10 million donation from local philanthropist Eric Sprott to help build the new Huntsville Hospital.
The gift brings the Raise Muskoka campaign past $63 million, with a goal of raising at least $70 million. Sprott is challenging the community to contribute what they can to help reach that milestone.
The Sprott family has supported healthcare in Muskoka for years, including diagnostic imaging services at Huntsville Hospital. The new hospital will be named in honour of Bob Hutcheson and is intended to meet the needs of the region’s growing and aging population.
Residents can learn more or donate through the Huntsville Hospital Foundation website.
