The man failed a roadside test
A 36-year-old Huntsville man is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped at a R.I.D.E. checkpoint on Earls Road. Huntsville OPP say the incident happened Sunday night just before 9, when officers smelled alcohol and the driver failed a roadside test.
The driver was arrested and later charged with having a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
He’s due in Bracebridge court on June 3. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven.
