The Township of Lake of Bays has hired Jeremy Alldred-Hughes as its new Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Services, starting November 24.
Alldred-Hughes brings 15 years of experience and began his career as a Lake of Bays volunteer firefighter. His appointment comes as the township moves ahead with its plan to end the shared fire service agreement with Huntsville and transition to an independent department by early 2027
