You can apply for the Habitat or Biodiversity grants
The Township of Lake of Bays is now accepting applications for its Habitat and Biodiversity Fund, which offers grants of up to $1,000 for small environmental projects.
Residents can apply for $500 through the Habitat Fund for initiatives like native planting, or $1,000 through the Biodiversity Fund for pollinator gardens or education events.
The deadline to apply is June 30th. The township encourages individuals and community groups with a passion for the environment to apply online or contact the township for more information.
