With concerns about ongoing or future postal disruptions, the Township of Lake of Bays is encouraging residents to sign up for planning notices by email.
The Planning Department says email delivery ensures timely access to important updates about zoning changes, new development applications, and public hearings — especially if traditional mail service is interrupted.
Residents can opt in by visiting lakeofbays.on.ca/subscribe and selecting "Planning Notices."
Current subscribers can also update their preferences to include the new option.
