Two students received $1K each
The Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation has awarded its 2025 Harriet T. Weaver Bursaries to two local students.
Paige Johnson-Shirley of Huntsville High School and Harper Gibbs of Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School each received $1,000 to support their post-secondary studies in Environmental Sciences and Education, respectively.
The bursaries, funded by an endowment from Brink Weaver and other donors, support students pursuing fields related to the Foundation’s conservation work.
