Muskoka Seniors marked 35 years of supporting older adults with a community celebration in Huntsville.
Muskoka Seniors marked its 35th anniversary this week with a luncheon in Huntsville that brought together staff, volunteers, clients, and community leaders. Executive Director Jenn Pfrimmer reflected on the group’s growth from a single vehicle and frozen meals in 1990 to serving more than 800 clients each year with the help of 125 volunteers.
Huntsville Mayor Nancy Alcock praised the organization for delivering meals, transportation, and companionship that help older adults stay connected and safe. A certificate of appreciation was presented on behalf of town council.
