A 16 year old was allegedly threatened after checking on someone's wellbeing
A Havelock man is facing charges following an incident involving a teenager in Gravenhurst.
Bracebridge OPP say officers responded Sunday night to a parking lot near Muskoka Road South after a 16-year-old who had stopped to check on someone's wellbeing was allegedly threatened.
Police say the youth was not injured during the incident. Fifty-eight-year-old Bart Lawson of Havelock has been charged with assault with a weapon and being intoxicated in a public place.
He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court in Bracebridge on July 28th.
