The victim was taken to hospital after being stabbed
A 22-year-old Kearney man is facing serious charges following a stabbing that left one person injured Friday afternoon.
Almaguin Highlands OPP say officers and paramedics were called to a home on Park Road around 4 p.m. for a report of someone in medical distress.
When they arrived, they found an individual suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have charged Malcom Barlow with attempted murder and aggravated assault. He remains in custody and was scheduled to appear in Parry Sound court today.
The OPP’s Almaguin Highlands Crime Unit continues to investigate.
