The new conditions statement is in effect until July 14th
The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued a Water Safety Statement for the Bracebridge, Minden, Parry Sound District, in effect until Monday, July 14.
Recent heavy rainfall has pushed river flows and water levels above normal across the South River, Magnetawan, and Seguin River watersheds.
Officials are urging residents and visitors to use caution around lakes, rivers, and forest access roads.
The ministry says conditions should begin to stabilize, but low-lying areas could still see localized impacts.
