Scott Street is getting a major upgrade
The District of Muskoka recently announced two major infrastructure upgrades in Huntsville aimed at improving safety and reliability.
Starting in September, Scott Street will be under construction from King William to Meadow Park. The project includes a new watermain, upgraded sidewalks, resurfaced roads, and better drainage.
Drivers can expect single-lane traffic and overnight water shutdowns, but access to businesses will remain open.
Meanwhile, Locks Bridge on Brunel Road is undergoing rehabilitation, with traffic down to one lane until winter. Work will resume in spring 2026.
