The General Committee meets today
Huntsville’s committee of council is set to tackle park safety and long-term planning when it meets today.
One key item is a recommendation to improve lighting at Baseball Diamond F at McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park. Following a photometric study ordered by council, staff are proposing new concrete poles and additional floodlights behind the backstop, dugouts, and along foul lines to improve visibility, safety, and accessibility.
Committee will also hear an update on the Town’s Corporate Action Plan, outlining progress on projects tied to Huntsville’s Strategic Plan.
