The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its own.
Fire Captain John Thomson, who served the community from the Foot’s Bay Station since 1981, has passed away.
Flags at all Muskoka Lakes fire stations have been lowered in his honour, recognizing over four decades of dedicated service to the township and the province.
