Huntsville’s downtown could be getting a new French bistro with outdoor seating next spring. The people behind the former Topiary building at 42 Main Street East told Council the side patio will hold about 50 seasonal seats, with additional front seating bringing the total to roughly 70.
The restaurant will create around 10 full-time seasonal jobs and support apprentice chefs in Red Seal programs.
Designed with Muskoka-style landscaping, the patio won’t affect drainage. Renovations are expected to be finished in time for patio season, with an opening targeted for April 2026.
