The development includes plans for 15 new homes
A proposed 15-lot subdivision in Strong Township has cleared a key hurdle after the Central Almaguin Planning Board granted draft approval for the Sunny Ridge Road development.
The decision followed a heated debate over whether technical studies, including hydrogeological and servicing reports, should come before or after draft approval.
Strong Township Mayor Tim Bryson said further delays would only worsen the local housing shortage, noting it’s been nearly 50 years since Sundridge saw a new subdivision.
