A new beach is one of the new enhanced featured of the park
The Township of Lake of Bays says upgrades at Norway Point Park are now complete. The improvements wrapped up this fall, and the refreshed waterfront space will officially be ready for residents and visitors when warm weather returns next year.
The revitalized park features a redesigned family-friendly beach with better access to the lake, a new berm to help protect water quality, and native plantings that stabilize the shoreline and boost local biodiversity. Visitors will also find more seating, improved walking paths, and clearer views of the water.
The project was shaped by community input gathered through the township’s 2023 Parks, Open Space and Recreation Strategy.
