Police say a safe ride starts with making the right choices before hitting the trails
OPP officers are out on the trails across Central Ontario conducting ATV safety checks.
Police are reminding riders that ATVs must be properly registered and insured, and everyone needs to wear an approved helmet.
Officers will also be talking with riders about safe and responsible trail use.
