Construction delays have kept the new JK-12 school from opening
Parents in Parry Sound, are voicing anger after a new “super school” failed to open on time.
The junior kindergarten to Grade 12 building was supposed to welcome students last week, but construction delays forced a last-minute change. High schoolers are now stuck learning online, while younger students have been redirected to nearby schools.
The province has launched a review of the school board’s handling of the project, as families push for answers and a timeline.
