The driver from the Barrie area was arrested in the afternoon
Police in Bracebridge have charged a driver with impaired driving following a RIDE check on Christmas Eve.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers with the Traffic Investigation Management team were conducting a RIDE program on Southwood Road around 3:45 that afternoon when they began an impaired driving investigation.
A 24 year old Barrie man was arrested and charged with impaired operation, over the legal limit.
He’s scheduled to appear in Ontario Court in Bracebridge on January 20th.
